– Job Description
• Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, taking into account prices, quality, and delivery
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other departments on purchasing processes
• Monitor market trends and market suppliers
• Adhere to any Health & Safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors
• Prepare and raise purchase orders
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
• Knowledge of FSC and other management systems would be preferred
Expected start date: 01/09/2021
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Salary: From £22,000.00GBP per year
